When reporting on single questions with a category scale, you often need to regroup the scale categories into broader definitions to simplify the reporting. For example, you might group the categories of a Net Promoter Score question into Promoters, Passives, and Detractors, or group a 10-point scale into positive, negative, and neutral bands.
Recoded categories can be applied in the following widgets:
