To create filters based on a question, open Report Filters, select single/multiselect, set source/variable, default/clear option, hide, or modify order.
To create a filter based on a question, follow these steps:
In the sidebar, click the Filters icon to open the Report Filters panel.
Click the plus + icon and select "From Question".
Type a name for your filter.
Select whether you want a Single-select or a Multi-select filter. To learn more about Single-select and Multi-select filters, visit: About Filters
By default, the "Source" field shows the responses quick-access table from the default survey. If you need to edit this, click the down-arrow and select the required item.
In the "Variable" field, select the variable to be used.
If one answer option is to be selected as default, click the pin for that option.
For single-select filters, you can define whether or not the end-user is able to clear the filter.
Choose if you want the filter to be hidden for the end-user.
By clicking the ellipsis, you can set the order filters are displayed (if you have more than one filter), you can delete the filter, and you can view the CDL code behind it.
