View, compare, restore past Studio report versions via Versions icon in sidebar. Hover over for Compare/Restore options. Preview in Inspect mode.
Studio maintains a register of report versions as they are published and republished. You can also manually create snapshots of your report at any point, allowing you to save different stages of the report. You can view past versions, compare them to each other and to the current version, and restore a past version if needed.
To access the versions, go to the Report page, click the Versions icon in the sidebar, and view the date, time, and user initial information for each version.
Creating a Version
Create new versions by clicking Create new version icon, and view them via the Versions icon. Access them in read-only mode, copy code, or restore.
Click the Versions icon in the sidebar to open the Versions panel.
Click the Create new version icon.
Each version is listed with the date and time it was created, as well as the initials of the user who created it.
Move your mouse into a version to show the Compare icon and the Restore icon. To learn more, visit: Comparing Report Versions and Restoring Report Versions
To switch from the Versions column to another column, click on the corresponding icon in the sidebar.
Previewing a Version
When viewing a version, it is presented in Inspect mode, which is read-only and intended to show how the report appeared when the version was created.
To preview a version:
Click the Versions icon in the sidebar to open the Versions panel.
To preview a specific version, scroll through the list of versions to locate it, then click on it to display it in Inspect mode.
