Markdown Widget Overview

Markdown widget displays text or images, allowing easy formatting. Advanced configuration via CDL. Forsta Go app has limited support for certain features.

The markdown widget can display static content, such as text or images, within a dashboard and is suitable for defining page and section titles. Markdown provides a straightforward way to add formatting, such as headers, bold text, bulleted lists, etc. to plain text without the need for HTML knowledge.

Forsta Go App

The Markdown widget is available in Go, but the following features have limited implementation or are not supported:

• Video links

• Code syntax highlighting

• Strikethrough

• Inline HTML

• Inline-style images before, between, or after text, with images required to be on a new line

• Image reference links

• URL reference links

• URLs in angle brackets that automatically turn into links.
