Creating a Key Metrics Scorecard involves placing the widget, defining hierarchy, adding columns with expressions and optional formatters for color-coding.
To set up a Key Metrics Scorecard, place the widget on the report canvas and then access the visual editor.
Use the data section to:
Decide whether to show base values within the same cell as the column metrics.
Choose whether to perform significance testing and set the confidence level. Significance is calculated for values relative to the parent element or against the totals for root elements.
Pick a previously defined hierarchy to use in the rows.
Show Legend
To add a Legend to the bottom of your Key Metric Scorecard, click the Show Legend button in the Setup section.
Adding Columns
After defining the hierarchy to be used in the rows, create columns for each metric to display. To add new columns, click the + plus icon. You can rearrange the columns to your desired location by using the drag-bar on the left side to drag them.
Each column has:
A label.
Define a value using the expression editor or write it as a CDL expression.
Apply optional formatters to control the number format and the background and text colors. These can be used to provide color-coding to indicate the performance of a metric against a target value.
An optional target value.
