Add up to two themed CTA buttons in Studio Visual Designer to link widgets to report pages or external sites for quick navigation.
1: Overview
The Call to Action (CTA) Buttons feature lets you add interactive buttons to your widgets in Studio Visual Designer (SVD).
These buttons help you take next steps like navigating to another report page or visiting an external site directly from the dashboard.
Each button can be:
Configured with a label (e.g. “Go to Site” or “View Details”)
Assigned a button type (Primary, Secondary, Tertiary, etc.)
Linked to either a report page or an external URL
You can add up to two CTA buttons to most widgets. Buttons appear in a Footer section within each widget’s settings. Expand this to add and configure up to 2 CTA buttons.
Once added, buttons automatically appear at the bottom of the widget and are aligned to the right by default. However, you can adjust the alignment using the available controls.
2: Configuring CTA Buttons
Open the Widget Settings in Studio Visual Designer.
Scroll down to the Footer section and expand it.
Click the + icon next to "Call to action"
Enter a Button Label (e.g. “Go to Site”).
Select a Button Type:
Primary – strong emphasis, main action.
Secondary – medium emphasis.
Tertiary (default) – link-style, low emphasis.
Set the Navigation:
Report – link to a page within the report.
External URL – link to a website (include “https://”).
(Optional) Adjust the Alignment controls to reposition buttons.
3: Themes and Appearance
CTA buttons automatically adapt to the theme selected for your dashboard.
Changing the theme (e.g., from Classic to Modern or Healthcare) updates the button colors and styles accordingly.
